About Us

High Wycombe Cricket Club is situated on London Road in High Wycombe, South Buckinghamshire. We have been established since 1823 and we are fortunate to have a very nice ground situated in the heart of the town and community providing cricket for all. We can attract an array of players whether they are senior or junior, male or female from all sorts of backgrounds and ethnicity.
We are also very fortunate to have a great junior membership and are getting very close to 200 junior members. We cater for boys and girls with teams playing in the competitive Bucks Cricket Board competitions.

The men’s senior section has always been healthy providing five competitive sides with the 1st XI competing in the Home Counties Premier League Div 1. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th teams feature within the Thames Valley Cricket League. We also work closely within the community and provide After School Cricket Coaching at several schools within the area. This is part of our own initiative which started in 2007 called the  ‘Cricket in the Community Scheme’. Along with this we coach at disability schools in the area including Alfriston School. Part of this very successful venture is that now, between ourselves and two other clubs in Bucks, we have driven disability cricket forward and we are looking to create High Wycombe Cricket Club’s first disability side creating yet another new section of the club.
We are always very happy to support the Bucks Cricket Board and many others in any way we can. We have over the years held Kwik Cricket tournaments hosting many schools, we are happy to provide the ground for local district cricket at Under 12’s and 14’s, Bucks girls and boys matches have been at the ground over the years along with Bucks Academy matches, Bucks senior men’s, the MCC, MCC Young Cricketers, the England physical disability side and learning difficulty side have had a fixture here over the last two years. The local Royal Grammar School and Highcrest Community School has also used the ground for various matches along with the Bucks New University.

If you are interested in playing cricket at High Wycombe CC you will be able to use great training facilities as we have, along with our grass nets, had a brand new astro turf net facility created at the top corner of the ground. The playing surface is one of the best in Bucks and the country. If you are interested please make contact on the e mail addresses below.
