June 5th Fixtures

Welcome to June 5th's version of Who, What and Where in which we detail all the key information about your favourite team.

High Wycombe 1st XI takes on Finchampstead away from home. Last year, tensions were high, yet Wycombe managed to come out with a win. They've been on a run of form, winning all of their league games thus far. Eliot Callis will look to continue his form with the bat after his century last weekend, and AJ Woodland with the ball after taking 4 wickets.

London Road will host High Wycombe 2nd XI against Boyne Hill starting at 1 pm. The bar will be open from 12pm, and there is seating both indoors and outdoors. Matt Pugh has looked in good touch in recent games, so skipper Simon Janes will look to him to help bolster the Wycombe batting lineup. Archie Dodds who has performed fantastically for the club 3rd & 4th XI thus far this season, will make his 2nd XI league debut in place of Isaac at the top of the order.

Slough 3's will play High Wycombe 3rd XI at Slough Cricket Club. After last week, High Wycombe will need to play with more clarity and restrict the chance of loose shots. Charlie Lane will look to continue on his run of form, however, Skipper JT who took 4 wickets last week is unavailable this weekend. Dan Stay returns as skipper for this week and will look to build on the season so far. Saj Zaib returns for the first time this year, which will give the team not only added batting strength but also some good experience.

West Wycombe Cricket Club will host the High Wycombe 4th XI against Kew 3rd team. Although Archie Dodds will be missed, the team is filled with skilled batsmen waiting to make their mark. Josh Field will look to put on the pressure with the ball just as he did last week.

Finally, HWCC 5th XI will play Chesham 4th XI away from home. After beating Amersham last week, they will look to gain their second consecutive league win. Sulayman Warraich has batted well this season and look to anchor the innings whilst all of Steve Gould, Sarim Zafar & Atharva Naik will hopefully arrive full of confidence after last weeks performance.

Again, the bar is open from 12 pm so come down and grab yourself a table to watch a great game of cricket.
