Wycombe 2nd XI's bad luck continues...

High Wycombe 2nd XI still search for their first win as Ickenham chase down 265 in the 36th over.

Matt Pugh started the 2nd XI's search incredibly well as he totted up 98 runs before being dismissed.

Jai Angell helped him along his way, bolstering the Wycombe 2nd XI total with his 59 whilst the remainder of the team helped to tot up the total to 265.

Although Paul Brzezicki, stemmed the flow of runs with some quick wickets, finishing on 3-50, the Ickenham batters were poised for victory after some chances were missed by Wycombe.

Ickenham chased down the total in the 36th over, losing just 5 wickets.

"A marked improvement in our batting laid the foundation for a par score. Great to see Pughy and Jai cash in after their hard work." Simon Janes said.

"We got off to a great start with the ball, only to let them off the hook a couple of times. This ultimately cost us."

"Plenty of positives to take forward and keep building on as we strive for our first win this season"
