Based on the Life and Music of the Small Faces

ALL OR NOTHING EXPERIENCE, by Carol Harrison, is a classic rock and roll story of the Small Faces, four charismatic young kids from East London.  In 1965, a new phenomenon erupted out of London’s East End.  It was the essence of all that was cool.  It was Mod.  ALL OR NOTHING EXPERIENCE follows the rise and demise of the Small Faces, the band who encapsulated all that was Mod – a unique blend of taste and testosterone, clothes-obsessed and street-wise – but most of all, a dedication to rhythm ‘n’ blues.  The ALL OR NOTHING EXPERIENCE LIVE show, celebrates the unique sound of this iconic Mod band, including hits Whatcha Gonna Do About It, Tin Soldier, Lazy Sunday, Itchycoo Park and All or Nothing, as well as offering an extended set of soulful sounds from the 60s plus Special Guests.

Sam’s songs offer a lyrical depth and maturity that is at odds with his youth. His songs talk of finding hope, courage, beauty, and redemption amid the struggle of everyday life.

Every song is carefully crafted, the placement of each lyric and chord measured to impact the listener both sonically and through the words being sung.

Sam is supported on stage by a regular full band line up and his live performances are an energetic combination of tight, musical precision and relaxed, spontaneity.

Playing at venues across the UK including the summer festival scene Sam has also taken his music on tour to Germany.

Following on from the success of Sam’s debut EP “Man Made” which cumulated over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone, Sam is set to release his second studio EP ‘A Second of Love’ later this year.

Our Beers

With some amazing small brewers locally, we’ve aimed to source the majority of our festival beers from the local area:

  1. Chiltern Beechwood Bitter 4.3% - Mid amber colour with a rich butter-toffee aroma. Fruity and slightly nutty. Premium quality pale ale malt, with an extra proportion of crystal malt, and increased hops, gives this beer its renowned 'nutty' flavour and punch. Very much a cruiserweight, it catches up with you unawares! First brewed in 1982, the beer takes its name from the numerous beech trees synonymous with the area.

  2. Malt Brewery Voyager 5% - export-style IPA with aromatic anglo-American hops and a slightly bitter finish. Mid-amber in colour and at 5% ABV still smooth & very easy to drink. Described by some fans a 'a bit of a creeper'!

  3. Chiltern Black 3.9% - Dark, ruby treacle tones, hints of roast barley and beautifully hopped with a chocolaty aroma.

  4.  Malt Brewery Starry Nights 4.0% - Deep Amber Ale. Crystal malt & flavour-full, bitter-sweet hops give this ale a great mouthfeel, which is lighter than the colour would suggest.

  5. Rebellion Square Leg 4.2% - a hoppy pale ale. Light amber in colour due to a small amount of lightly roasted crystal malt. This adds a slight sweetness and subtle caramel note that acts as a counterweight to the generous hop charge.

  6. Malt Missenden Pale Ale 3.6% - Traditional-style light pale ale made with sweet & earthy Goldings hop varieties. 3.6% ABV

  7. Chiltern Battle of Britain 5.0% - Award winning, traditional old ale that packs a memorable punch

More beers to be added as they’re announced.
