Our Grounds

High Wycombe Cricket Club plays across five grounds, each with its own character and its own role in the club. Between them they host everything from junior cricket to international fixtures, and together they're what make HWCC one of the biggest and busiest clubs in the area.

London Road

Our main ground, and the true home of HWCC, right in the heart of Wycombe. This is the ground most people picture when they think of the club - each season you'll see everything from junior games to international cricket pass through it. It's home to our 1st and 2nd XI, and its quality and location mean it's regularly chosen to host county fixtures, representative matches, and international games, putting the club firmly on the map beyond our own membership.

Knotty Green

A picturesque village ground that feels a world away from the town centre, despite being only a short drive out. With its own bar and a genuine village-green setting, it's a favourite for players and spectators alike. Knotty Green is home to our 5th XI, and is also one of our busiest venues for junior cricket, with a full summer of youth fixtures played.

Prince Risborough

Tucked in the heart of Buckinghamshire, this is one of the best-appointed grounds we play on, and one built on a strong relationship with the home club. It's a shared fixture list here — our 3rd XI play alongside Prince Risborough's own 1st XI, and the ground also hosts a variety of other matches through the season, making it a real hub of activity in its own right.

West Wycombe

A shared ground with West Wycombe CC, set in one of the most scenic spots we play, right alongside the beautiful Dashwood Estate. It's hard to beat the backdrop here on a summer's afternoon. Our 4th XI call this home, and it's also a key venue for our junior sides, giving young players the chance to learn the game somewhere genuinely special.

Downley

A ground share with Downley CC, and an important part of the club's future as much as its present. Downley is home to our 6th XI, and it's where our very youngest junior teams take their first steps in the game, making it, in many ways, the starting point for the next generation of HWCC players.
